Padua College: NSS Camp Begins at Mary help of Christians Church, Adyapady.
The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Padua College of Commerce and Management, Nantoor, Mangaluru, launched its annual special camp on February 2nd at the Mary Help of Christians Church in Adyapadi. Parish Priest Fr. Francis Rodrigues inaugurated the event, while Johnson D'Souza from the same church offered his best wishes as the chief guest. The college principal, Fr. Arun Wilson Lobo, presided over the ceremony, which was also attended by Vice Principal Prof. Roshan Santamayor, Senior Students Association President Lavitraj, and unit leader Gagan. Sridhar, the camp's planning officer, provided details about the camp activities. The welcome address was delivered by Sridhar, Dheeraj gave the vote of thanks, and Devika anchored the program. Reshma Rishal was also present.
Special Celebration Day for Elders, Youth, Children, and Couples at Mary Help of Christians Church, Adyapady
On November 3, 2024, as part of the jubilee celebrations, Mary Help of Christians Church, Adyapady, hosted a special day dedicated to honoring elders, youth, children, and couples in the parish. The celebration was filled with lively cultural programs and entertainment activities, creating a joyful and unifying atmosphere for all attendees.
Fr. Harry D'Souza, the Spiritual Director of Gladsome Home Minor Seminary, was present to grace the occasion, along with Parish Priest Fr. Francis Rodrigues and Brother Royston D'Souza, whose presence made the event memorable.
The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Adyapady added to the festive spirit by organizing a series of engaging games, ensuring fun and participation across generations.

The parishioners of Adyapady Parish, accompanied by their Parish Priest, Fr. Francis Rodrigues, and Br. Royston D'Souza, visited St. Anthony Ashram in Jeppu, Mangalore. They spent quality time with the residents of the Ashram, engaging with and entertaining them. The group also visited St. Joseph's Seminary in Jeppu as part of their trip.
**Adyapady Church Website Officially Launched**
On November 3, 2024, as part of the ongoing jubilee celebrations, Mary Help of Christians Church in Adyapady launched its official website, adyapadychurch.in. The launch event, held on a special day celebrating elders, youth, children, and couples, brought the parish community together in a joyous gathering.
Fr. Harry D'Souza, the Spiritual Director of Gladsome Home Minor Seminary, inaugurated the website. Parish Priest Fr. Francis Rodrigues, along with Vice President Johnson D'Souza, Secretary Sunil D'Souza, Brother Royston D'Souza, and website designer Roshan Mascarenhas, were also present to commemorate the occasion.
The celebrations included cultural programs and a variety of games organized by the Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Adyapady, providing entertainment and engagement for all parishioners. The website launch marks a significant milestone for Adyapady Church as it strengthens its digital presence and connection with the community.
